The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR is seeking a qualified candidate to join the team in a human motion capture / gait lab (Vicon motion capture, Delsys EMG, AMTI force plates). The Post-Doctoral Research Fellow will meet the research needs of the faculty and residents in the department while also pursuing his/her independent research interests in orthopaedic or musculoskeletal biomechanics.
A Ph.D. in mechanical or biomedical engineering or related field is required. Candidates should have extensive experience and peer-reviewed publications in human motion capture and gait lab biomechanics. Two years of competitive fellowship salary + benefits, and a $2,000 personal research/travel budget are available. Position is expected to begin in 2018.
