JOB DESCRIPTION – Senior Biomechanist (working with British Cycling)
Grade: Level 3 (All Sciences)
Salary Scale: £36,259 - £47,297 p.a.
Hours of Work: Such hours as necessary to carry out your duties. This will involve aminimum of 37 hours per week and may include working outside normal office hours at evenings and weekends and on Public Holidays.
Location: The normal place of work is the Manchester Institute of Health and Performance however significant delivery will be from the National Cycling Centre. Additionally, the EIS may from time to time require you to travel to and work at other offices.
ROLE SUMMARY
The role will deliver applied biomechanics services for World Class Programme athletes at British Cycling, working within the coaching process and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to create a world class high performance environment. Additionally, and dependent on experience and suitability, the role will be accountable for the strategic development of Biomechanics services within British Cycling, reporting to Head of Performance Support
