    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Lecturer (or Lecturer, for the right candidate) to join our dynamic and growing School of Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation, within the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, providing high quality teaching at our Luton Campus.

    The post is a full time permanent post in which you would be expected to contribute to course management, delivery and teaching for our BSc Sports Therapy programme, and other courses in the School's portfolio. You would also be expected to contribute to the research and enterprise of the School and/or to maintain your professional development, through postgraduate study, within the University and maintain your external professional networks and relationships.

    Successful applicant(s) should have or be studying towards a Doctorate in Sports Therapy (or a related discipline) or be of equivalent professional standing. Additionally, the successful applicant should:
    * have experience of working in Sports Therapy/musculoskeletal therapy in a clinical setting,
    * have knowledge and confidence within the area of Sports Therapy/ musculoskeletal assessment and treatment,
    * have a track record of and a passion for high quality teaching, course management and the management of the student experience,
    * be research active,
    * be an effective leader and team member,
    * be able to: exercise initiative, work independently and be a pro-active problem-solver, effectively motivating others,
    * have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a highly organised and flexible approach to work
