Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity for a 2 year fixed term Research Assistant/ Associate position at the Institute of Neuroscience, Newcastle University in the Brain and Movement Research Team.
This provides an exciting opportunity for an early career scientist who is interested in human movement and wearable technology. You will be expected to work in an interdisciplinary group who has an established international reputation in gait analysis and wearable technology.
You will work as part of a high profile national study ("Deep and Frequent Phenotyping; combinatorial biomarkers for dementia experimental medicine" (D&FP)) and will be expected to train sites to collect data, provide training, technical assistance, manage the transfer and analysis of accelerometry data collected at all sites.

Information, eligibility criteria and requirements:
The ideal candidate should have a PhD or Master’s degree in Biomedical Science, Movement Science or related field, experience working with accelerometry data; proficient signal processing, mathematical, statistical and computational skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
