    Massey University is seeking highly motivated applicants for PhD opportunity investigating the mechanical and physiological implications of mini-trampoline jumping in children. This multi-disciplinary project will involve supervisors from the School of Sport, Exercise, and Nutrition (College of Health) and the School of Engineering and Advanced Technology (College of Science). The student will be primarily supervised by Dr Sarah Shultz on the Wellington campus, in the middle of New Zealand’s vibrant capital.
    The successful candidate will be able to work independently and think critically, with a keen interest in innovation and technology development. Students with backgrounds in master’s degree in biomechanics, mechanical engineering, exercise science (kinesiology), or related field are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to applicants with programming experience with with Matlab software and other languages (C++, Java, etc).
    This PhD opportunity is associated with a doctoral scholarship ($25,000); there is no fee waiver associated with the scholarship. International students will pay domestic fees at doctoral level.
