We are currently expanding our staff at our New York Biomechanics Lab (Garden City, NY), and are looking for qualified graduate students to manage motion capture sessions used for clinical evaluations, wearable technology validation studies, and product development exercises. Qualified candidates must currently be enrolled in a graduate degree program in the New-York area.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Motus' biomechanics lab software and hardware (16-camera MAC Raptor-E system, 2 Bertec Force Plates, 8+ Motus IMU's, 8 channel EMG, 2-lead ECG)
- Manage client testing schedule and outreach.
- Prepare biomechanical reports for physical therapists, physicians, athletic trainers, strength and conditioning coaches, sport coaches, athletes, and parents.
- Communicate strongly with clients to deliver best-in-class biomechanical assessment experience.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS/MS in Relevant Field of Study (Biomechanics, Engineering, Computer Science, Exercise Science).
- Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program (MS/PhD) in Relevant Field of Study.
- Experience with Motion Capture equipment.
- Experience with programming in Matlab.
