A PhD position is available starting Fall 2018 in the Sensorimotor Neuroscience Lab at the University of Georgia. Our research is focused on visuomotor deficits in neurodegenerative disorders.
For behavioral measurements we use robotics, eye-tracking, and virtual-reality. The main experimental tool in our laboratory is a KINARM End-Point Lab (BKIN Technologies, Kingston, ON, Canada) integrated with eye-tracking (SR Eyelink, Mississauga, ON, Canada) and wireless EMG (Delsys, Boston, MA). For electrophysiological measurements, we will use high-density magnetoencephalography (located at the Bio-imaging Research Center at UGA) and transcranial magnetic stimulation.
Applicants should have:
For extremely qualified applicants, College Research Scholar Awards (CRSA) are available from the College of Education that provide a 12-month assistantship and tuition waiver. If you are interested and would like additional information, please email Dr. Tarkesh Singh (tsingh@uga.edu) ASAP with a single PDF file containing a statement of research interests and skills and a copy of your current CV.
