    Dear Colleagues,
    The U.S. Army Research Laboratory is looking to hire a master's-level researcher to assist with conducting studies using physiological variables to understand/quantify physiological/psychological state. This is part of a research program examining physical & cognitive interactions in Dismounted Warriors and Teams. This position is ideal for a master-level individual who has an interest in performing research and possibly pursuing doctoral work in the future. This research group averages 2+ manuscripts/year and the expectation is that this individual's contributions are substantial enough to warrant authorship.

    The candidate should have the following qualities:
    -High-level of knowledge in the cardiovascular responses to exercise
    -Familiarity with non-invasive cardiovascular measures
    -General understanding of the autonomic nervous system & non-invasive measures thereof
    -High level of interest in human performance
    -No aversion to performing blood draws
    -Experience with writing code or an interest in learning
    -Comfortable with the Mission of the Army and no aversion to live-fire shooting ranges with small arms

    Candidates must be U.S. Citizens (no exceptions). Salary is highly competitive. Ideally, candidate will start in February 2018, but superb candidates graduating in May 2018 will be considered.
