Musculoskeletal modelling of biomechanical loading in simulated gravity situations for rehabilitation programmes
We have an exciting fully-funded full-time PhD studentship co-funded by the European Space Agency and University of Bath, UK. The overall aim of this project is to understand lower body internal loads during jumping, walking and running in simulated gravity situations utilising both experimental and musculoskeletal modelling techniques.
The studentship is to support research and work in in the Department for Health (http://www.bath.ac.uk/health/researc...rcise-science/). The student will also be attached to our £10M CAMERA centre (http://www.camera.ac.uk/).
The successful candidate will be supported for three years, and will include a £ 14,553 (2017/18 rate) per annum stipend, UK/EU tuition fees and an annual Training Support Grant.
