  • Motion Analysis Research Laboratory Technician

    The Creighton University Rehabilitation Science Laboratory is accepting applications for a research laboratory technician. This position will provide a wide variety of technical lab support for a human movement research facility within the Creighton University Department of Physical Therapy. This individual will assist in the evaluation of lab methods, procedures, and techniques based on established objectives, provide assistance in manipulating, computing, and analyzing data using complex statistical computer software and perform library research. The primary areas of research will be trunk and lower extremity biomechanics and muscle activation in pregnant, post-partum, and nulliparous females and in persons with hip and low back pathology. This position is grant funded for one year.


    Bachelor's Degree in related Science field required (e.g. Biomechanics, Athletic Training, Exercise Science), Master’s Degree preferred.
    0-1 year's research lab experience with human participants or health care experience required.
    Experience with computer programming (e.g. Visual3D, MatLab, LabView).
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
    Organizational skills required.
    Analytical skills required.
