[COLOR=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]What You'll Do/Need[/COLOR][COLOR=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]Xenith (xenith.com) is looking for a Laboratory Manager to oversee and operate Xenith’s test laboratory. Working with Product and Quality teams, they’ll develop and implement procedures to improve overall laboratory efficiency and rigor of test methodologies. With their significant mechanical aptitude, they’ll identify and execute repairs and improvements to laboratory equipment. As a member of the Product Innovation team, they’ll evaluate next-generation prototypes and utilize test data to identify improvements with Product Engineering.[/COLOR][COLOR=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]Responsibilities[/COLOR]

• Supervise test lab technicians and interns
• Oversee and perform product innovation and quality testing
• Compare test results to product performance specifications and unique test objectives, and perform statistical analysis on results
• Perform test equipment maintenance and reliability
• Develop annual lab budget plan (calibration costs, maintenance, equipment replacement, etc.)
• Identify methods to improve lab efficiency and reduce maintenance costs
• Develop a test request protocol for departments and develop test schedules/timing
• Work with Product Engineering and Test Technicians to implement equipment reliability projects
• Coordinate external testing and manage relationships with outsourced test labs
• Assist Product Engineering with identifying test requirements for development activities

• Engineering Technician or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
• Two years of relevant experience
• Mechanical proficiency with a variety of test equipment
• Ability to communicate complex technical knowledge in a clear and concise manner
