We are looking for an engineering postdoctoral research associate to join our Musculoskeletal Health Engineering Lab. This postdoctoral associate will be involved primarily in a project aimed at developing and validating subject-specific neck musculoskeletal biomechanical models of the sustained-till-exhaustions and dynamic motions, and possibly in a few other exploratory projects. Experience with biomechanical analysis and modeling is essential, but an applicant should also be comfortable with experimental testing with human subjects. We expect this person to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethics and excellent verbal and written communication skills. He or she must be immediately eligible to work. The applicant should have a Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering, industrial & systems engineering, bio/biomedical engineering, or a related discipline. The position is for a minimum of one year, with renewal dependent on performance and continued availability of funding. Salary is commensurate with credentials.
