  • Research Assistant/Associate in hand biomechanics at Imperial College London

    Applications are invited for a Research Associate position in the group of Dr Angela Kedgley in the Department of Bioengineering at Imperial College London. The group investigates the effects of ageing and joint pathologies in the upper limb using both experimental and computational methods. This project forms a key part of the in vitro simulation work of the group, which is conducted in collaboration with clinicians at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. The post is funded by EPSRC to create, validate, and employ a new custom-made joint motion simulator for the hand.
    We seek a highly motivated individual to fill this post, in possession of a PhD (or equivalent experience) in engineering or physical sciences and a high level of competence in appropriate scientific software specifically including Matlab and LabView.
