1- A funded project focused on characterizing the mechanisms and effects of exercise and manual therapy to include spinal manipulation for patients with rotator cuff disease. Specifically, we are looking to examine the muscle coordination and brain processes (via fMRI), and the relationship to patient outcomes.
2- Assessment of throwing and hitting athletes. We are currently have a funded study to examine the risk factors and mechanisms associated with shoulder and elbow injuries in baseball.
