- Screening and scheduling participants for research studies
- Operate and maintain biomechanical and human movement sensor data equipment
- Perform clinical mobility and fall risk assessments
- Data cleaning and processing
- Oversee and maintain databases for fall prevention research projects
- Facilitate development of standard protocols within the lab, ensuring proper procedures and policies are followed on a day-to-day basis
- Assist with organization of community engagement
- Prepare reports pertaining to recruitment, research progression, and related issues for internal and external use
- Assist Research Lab Coordinator with coordination of day-to-day organization of multiple research studies, allocate appropriate research space and equipment, and preparation of study materials
- Other related duties as assigned to further the mission of the unit
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree with at least one college level course in research methods or direct experience conducting human research is required. Experience conducting research with individuals. At least one college level course in research methods or direct experience conducting research; experience working with diverse groups or individuals; experience working on team-based projects is required. Experience working on health related research; experience working with other adults, or individuals with mobility impairment is preferred.
Skills Desired: Successful candidates will be expected to be highly organized; dependable; familiar with Microsoft Office software; have excellent oral and written communication skills; have an ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent and demonstrated interpersonal, time management, and solution focused skills are required.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
