The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR is seeking a qualified candidate to join the team in a human motion laboratory (Vicon MoCap, Delsys EMG, AMTI force plates, XSENS IMUs, Visual 3D and more!). The Post Doctoral Research Fellow will work primarily on an exploratory infant biomechanics project and will also engage in ongoing clinical biomechanics research with over 60 orthopaedic surgeons and resident collaborators.
A Ph.D. in mechanical or biomedical engineering or related field is required. Candidates should have extensive experience and peer-reviewed publications in human motion research. At least one full year of competitive fellowship salary + benefits are available. Position is expected to begin ASAP - July or August 2018.
