Research Scientist This role requires you to be invested in exercise science and research to understand how our product can be best leveraged to build better athletes by improving performance while also helping in injury recovery and understanding injury risk. We’re looking for a highly motivated and talented candidate to join our team who’s passionate about the intersection of athletics, exercise/movement science and the research process. The ideal candidate will leverage their experience to lead research projects spanning from small pilot data collections to peer reviewed manuscripts. We are looking for someone who can drive research efforts starting from formulating the most important research questions to address by working with our product and business teams. They will then design the experiments, coordinate data collection and processing efforts, and work to disseminate the results into learning for both the product and how we position in market.

Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- Masters, Ph.D. and/or Postdoctoral Fellowship in Exercise Science (Physiology/Biomechanics/Rehabilitation Sciences) or comparable program
- 2+ years of industry experience preferred
- Programming and data analysis expertise
- Experience with python scientific packages
- Strong background in statistics and proven practical application to answer product questions
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Background in and passion for sport, exercise, athletics, and human movement
You Will:
- Lead research experiments and studies to support product developments grounded in sport/exercise science
- Lead case studies to develop education to help coaches and athletes make training decisions with our product
- Publish research results in top-tier journals and build academic partnerships
- Work with internal teams and industry experts to formulate product questions and prioritization
- Formulate study data into results, learning and next steps
- Manage multiple projects in parallel
- Project planning and working cross functionally to set expectations on resources and timeline
