Qualisys North America, (QNA) a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualisys AB, a leader in 3D motion capture, is expanding and seeking a sales professional. The ideal candidate will know and understand the wide variety of components involved in 3D motion capture, to include but not limited to 3D motion capture, emg, force plates, IMU's, haptic devices and reporting software. Having experiences in Qualisys technologies and systems is a plus but not a requirement.
Task Functions: The individual will:
- Interact with existing sales and marketing team members;
- Generate and follow up sales leads for new customers, B2B, B2C within the defined markets (Americas);
- Attend international and domestic exhibitions as required;
- Arrange territory workshops for new customers;
- Eventually aiding with system installation and training;
- Responsible for the complete sales cycle, independent of direct sales or through intermediary;
- Be assign additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the Market Director.
Competencies:
- A Technical degree with in the engineering, bioscience, biomechanics and an understanding of business practices;
- Ability to discuss 3D motion capture with the five market segments including: Engineering, Industrial, Sports, Bioscience, Entertainment;
- Will need to be a self provider - to demonstrate start to finish demonstration and related customer experiences;
- Computer skills in MS Office, CRM; mocap, labview, matlab, python, C++, and or entertainment software a plus
Required Skills:
- English Communication skills: listening, oral and written communication skills are essential
- Problem solving
- multi-tasking especially with accounts
- organization
- Multi lingual - Spanish, Portuguese, french Canadian are plus languages
Finally requirements:
- Job will be Chicago based;
- must have a passport to freely move to and from the USA to a wide variety of countries;
- must be eligible to work in the USA with current and validated work documentation;
- expect 50% travel, some weekends, sorry sometimes a holiday
