We are recruiting! Do you have (or nearly have) a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related area? Are you interested in Assistive Technology, Rehabilitation Engineering or Musculoskeletal Modelling? If so I have a 3-year post-doc position to fill, and you might be a great fit! This post represents an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join a research group in assistive technology and biomechanics within the Institute for Science and Technology in Medicine (ISTM) at Keele University in the heart of England.
The post is funded by EPSRC and aims to develop efficient methods for personalising assistive technology to restore arm function in people with high-level spinal cord injury. In this post you will work on computational models for optimising treatment interventions specific to an individual's functional limitations and assist with the development and delivery of the patient and public engagement strategy.
