  • Australia/NZ PhD/MRes Scholarships - Macquarie University, Sydney.

    Applications are currently open for Domestic (Australia and New Zealand) applicants for Masters of Research and PhD positions at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia.     Please note these are competitive scholarships awarded to high-calibre applicants.


    Currently we are recruiting suitable students, who obtain a scholarship as above, to research in the area of Biomechanics, and/or Strength and Conditioning, and/or Physical Performance with a focus on Rugby League (in collaboration with the Rabbitohs Football Club) or Military physical conditioning.


    The facilities at MQ include a Vicon motion analysis system, AMTI Force-instrumented treadmill, MYON 16 channel EMG, 3 in-ground force plates, and other facilities such as a virtual reality laboratory, portable force plates, VO2 analyser, etc.


    Depending on the proposed project the successful applicant should have experience with kinetic and kinematic data collection and analysis, experience with Matlab, Python, and/or OpenSim, and strength and conditioning experience/qualifications.
