The Department of Physical Therapy, School of Health Professions at UT Health San Antonio is looking for a 12-month tenure-trackAssistant/Associate Professor to join our core faculty. Candidates with a terminal doctoral degree (e.g. PhD, EdD, DSc, DrPH) are preferred.A physical therapy degree or license is preferred. Applicants without a physical therapy degree must have some clinical experience. Primaryteaching responsibilities will be in cardiorespiratory dysfunctions/rehabilitation, exercise physiology, and mentorship of student’sresearch projects. Possible secondary teaching responsibilities (if licensed PT) will be in therapeutic modalities (electro, thermal,mechanical). Strong applicants with other areas of expertise will be considered. Proven track record of scholarship and research is desired,and preference will be given to those with current funding or recent funding history. Highly desirable service experiences at regional,national, or international leadership positions in professional organizations is preferred.
