    Required Degree: PhD-earned doctoral degree in exercise sciences or a related discipline

    Department Description: The department seeks to fill two faculty vacancies. Exercise Sciences is a
    thriving department that currently has over 1,500 undergraduate students majoring in Exercise
    Science, Athletic Training, or Exercise and Wellness. The department has an MS program with
    emphases in athletic training, exercise physiology, health promotion and exercise sciences, and a PhD
    program in Exercise Sciences with emphases in exercise physiology, health promotion and physical
    medicine and rehabilitation.

    Qualifications: Applicants must have an earned doctoral degree in exercise science or a related

    Duties/Expectations: The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, mentor
    undergraduate and graduate students in research, maintain a consistent publication record, actively
    seek external research funding, and be involved in professional service. Applicants with teaching and
    research capabilities in human anatomy, orthopedics, motor control, physiology, health promotion,
    biomechanics, statistics, epidemiology, athletic training, or another field complementary to exercise
    science will be considered. To strengthen current research programs within the department, applicants
    whose area of expertise complements existing areas of departmental strength are preferred.

    Approximate starting salary range: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
