The Department of Kinesiology & Sport Management at Texas Tech University has research/teaching assistantships available for students who wish to pursue a PhD degree with core coursework in Exercise Physiology. The interdisciplinary program provides students with advanced knowledge about the integrative physiological processes related to how exercise and lifestyle changes alter health and risk factors for disease and disability. Faculty mentors conduct research in the areas of exercise physiology, biomechanics, and motor behavior. Assistantships include a 12-month stipend and cover tuition and fees.
