The Department of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation and Movement Science is excited to introduce our new Ph.D. program in Human Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences at Northeastern University. We are now accepting applications for the Fall of 2019. Dr. Joshua Stefanik is seeking an exceptional student to join his research team. Research includes studies related to epidemiology of knee OA/knee pain leveraging the rich Multicenter Osteoarthritis Study (www.most.ucsf.edu) and studies of gait and human movement related to knee OA in older adults and younger adults after ACL injury, with a focus on the patellofemoral joint.
The application deadline for Fall 2019 is January 15th. Funding opportunities for accepted students exist.
This interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Human Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences prepares its graduates to conduct independent (original) basic, translational, and applied research to restore and maximize human functional capacity and wellbeing across the lifespan.
