Doctoral research positions in musculoskeletal biomechanics are available beginning August 2019 in the Mechanical Engineering department at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). Multiple faculty conduct research in computational and experimental biomechanics and mechanobiology. Eingineering students at IUPUI receive degrees from Purdue University. Qualifications: Applicants should have completed a bachelors or master’s degree in mechanical or biomedical engineering or a related field, preferably with a concentration in biomechanics. Completion of a Master's thesis or other significant training in research is desired. Highly motivated candidate with good written and verbal communication skills are sought. Candidates with good GPA and GRE scores and a strong record of research publications will receive preference.
