Two fully-funded PhD studentship projects are available in Comparative Neuromechanics within the Structure and Motion Laboratory at the Royal Veterinary College in the UK.
Please see the links below for further information. Application deadline is 10th February 2019.
Computational neuromechanics of locomotion in bipeds and quadrupeds with co-supervisors Daley, Hutchinson and Tassa (Google DeepMind):
Synthesis of locomotor behaviours using realistic musculoskeletal models of bipeds and quadrupeds
Clinical neuromechanics, with co-supervisors Olsen, Daley and de Decker:
Objective assessment of gait and muscle function in dogs with neurologic disease
The PhD studentship funding covers a living stipend and UK/EU/EEA tuition fees.
Sorry, the funds do not fully cover international tuition fees.
International students are welcome to apply, but would need to be able to fund the difference between UK/EU and international tuition fees.
Best wishes,
Monica
