  • Postdoc Position at UM Ann Arbor

    The Neuromuscular & Rehabilitation Robotics (NeuRRo) lab (http://neurro-lab.engin.umich.edu/) and the Neurobionics Lab (https://neurobionics.engin.umich.edu) at the University of Michigan are looking for a talented and highly motivated applicant for a postdoctoral research position. The candidate will work on NIH/NSF/M-Cubed funded research projects that aim to develop novel methods and devices to assess and improve neurological outcomes (e.g., Stroke, Cerebral Palsy).

    The ideal candidate for this position would have a PhD in Biomedical Engineering (or related field). The candidate should have substantial experience in human subjects experiments, and expertise in 3D Motion Capture, Gait Analysis, Programming (e.g. Matlab, LabView, etc.), and scientific writing skills are desired and would be highly beneficial for this position.

    In addition to the technical and scientific writing skills outlined above, ideal candidates should have excellent analytical and problem solving skills and must be thriving in both a team and individual environment. Since the candidate will be leading the effort in these projects, he/she must also have strong organizational and communication skills.

    The candidates will be mentored by both Dr. Elliott Rouse and Dr. Chandramouli Krishnan, and will have additional interaction opportunities with a large group of successful and productive Rehabilitation Robotics faculty members.
