The Position
The College of Business at Lewis University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor for the Sport Management program. The primary professional responsibilities of this faculty role are to provide outstanding teaching, engage in scholarly pursuits and student recruitment, and promote the Sports Management Program within the College, University and Community. Distinguished by a focus on global business practices and international relations, more and more of our students are taking advantage of short- and long-term study abroad excursions. The Stahl Center for Entrepreneurship and Real Estate equips students with the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to become successful entrepreneurs. The College of Business Sales Excellence Certificate Program provides students with unique classroom experiences and unparalleled access to sales professionals and their organizations. With small class sizes, one-on-one attention from dedicated faculty who are experts in their field, and accelerated and convenient course options through our regional sites. Lewis' College of Business programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Our project management programs are approved by the Project Management Institute (PMI), and we are designated as a National Center for Academic Excellence by the Department of Homeland Security and National Security Agency.
The Lewis University College of Business offers twelve undergraduate majors, serving more than 650 students. Over 550 students are enrolled in the six graduate degree programs, offered through the Graduate School of Management.
Minimum Qualifications
Earned PhD in Sport Management or Recreation Management; EdD in Leadership with significant experience in Sport Administration; Business (Marketing, Management, etc.) Significant experience in Sport Administration.
