    JOB REQUIREMENTS:
+ PhD degree in mechanical engineering or biomedical engineering.
+ Experience with advanced cadaveric testing tools/techniques, including current 6DOF experimental joint simulators
+ Knowledge of finite element analysis and proficiency with commercial FEA codes
    + Proficiency with programming languages
    + Significant prior research-based publication
+ Excellent oral/written communication skills and interpersonal skills

The Center for Orthopaedic Biomechanics has recently moved into a new building,
with world-class laboratory facilities, including experimental biomechanics lab with 6DOF joint simulator and mechanical test frames,
implant retrieval lab, and computational biomechanics lab.
The University of Denver (www.du.edu) was founded in 1864 and is the oldest
private university in the Rocky Mountain region. The Department of
Mechanical and Materials Engineering offers graduate degrees in Mechanical
Engineering and Bioengineering. In addition to educational opportunities,
