The Department of Health Sciences and Research in the College of Health Professions at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a full-time research coordinator for immediate hire.
The successful candidate will participate in the conduct of research studies with a focus on neurorehabilitation. Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for participant recruitment, IRB coordination, and independent data collection and analysis. The candidate will be involved with research studies across multiple state-of-the-art laboratories directed by multiple principal investigators, focusing on investigating novel assessments and treatments of individuals who have experienced a neurological injury. Particular areas of research interest are stroke recovery (https://education.musc.edu/colleges/health-professions/research/stroke-recovery) and neuromodulation (https://education.musc.edu/colleges/health-professions/research/nc-nm4r).
Requirements: A bachelor’s degree and one year of relevant experience is required. Comfort working closely with individuals with neurological injuries is required, and experience in a research setting is preferred. Candidates must be highly organized and able to work independently.
