This role is to work to design, manufacture and test devices for the "Fit for Purpose, Affordable Body-Powered Prostheses project". This project is looking at novel designs of prosthetic mechanisms that are lightweight and can be used in Low Income Countries. The post doc will work with partners in Salford, Uganda and Jordan on the design and implementation of novel means to actuate prosthetic hands that are appropriate for the requirements and cultural needs of the target country.
