Biomechanical Engineer, NURVV Ltd, London, UK

    Background to role
NURVV Ltd have a number of exciting projects under way, our mission is to develop wearable technology products that will allow athletes to maximize their performance. We are assembling a strong team to support our product development roadmap and now require the skills of a Biomechanical / Biomedical / Sports Engineer. This is your chance to join an exciting new company as it grows.

You will be a highly technically capable person, with a thorough understanding of human biomechanics, motion measurement technologies, signal processing, and contemporary data analysis techniques. You will possess a demonstrable track record of working with biomechanical data to interpret human motion, preferably with experience of wearable sensors and machine learning techniques. You will have a sufficiently broad skillset to be able to contribute effectively across product design, development, and testing activities. You will also possess good oral and written presentation skills. A passion for sport and exercise would be a bonus.

We are a very entrepreneurial company, which means that working fast, exploring new ideas and solutions, and making things happen are key to our culture. • Take technical responsibility for devising and executing test protocols to evaluate prototype products and sensor technologies.
    • Liaise with the firmware team and app developers to ensure streamlined implementation of algorithms into products.
    • Perform exercise trials with human participants to validate measures and evaluate product performance.
    • Contribute to product concept, prototype design, and development activities.
