Gonzaga University’s Department of Human Physiology is a growing undergraduate program with approximately 200 majors that seeks to fill a one-year 9-month, full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Lecturer-AT, beginning in fall 2019. The teaching assignment for the position will include anatomy and physiology lecture and lab, in addition to other courses in our curriculum that are dependent on the candidate’s area of expertise (possibilities include: exercise physiology, kinesiology/biomechanics, experimental design and statistics, scientific writing and an elective in the in the candidate’s area of expertise). We are interested in candidates who have expertise that complements our current faculty.
Required Qualifications: PhD (or relevant terminal degree) in Physiology or a related field; ABD encouraged to apply, however the degree must be awarded by August 1, 2019; one year or more of relevant college/university level teaching experience; evidence of scholarly productivity; and the ability to advise undergraduate students.
