The Chib Lab (http://chiblab.jhu.edu) at the Johns Hopkins University Department of Biomedical Engineering and Kennedy Krieger Institute is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to work on projects related to the neurobiological basis of motivated performance and decision-making. Our lab uses a combination of human behavioral experiments, computational modeling, neuroimaging, and noninvasive brain stimulation. We perform experiments with healthy human participants and have ongoing studies with a number of clinical populations (e.g., major depressive disorder, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis).
Requirements include a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, or related fields; previous experience designing and executing behavioral experiments with human subjects or animals; and a strong programming and quantitative background. Previous experience with fMRI and/or noninvasive brain stimulation is ideal, but not essential.
The position requires a commitment of two years, and is renewable contingent on performance and funding. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
