Federally funded Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Ohio State University and the Naval Medical Research Unit Dayton, located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH
The position will be a joint hire reporting to both Peter Le, Ph.D. and Dan Merfeld, Ph.D. in the Acceleration and Sensory Sciences Division of the Naval Medical Research Unit Dayton. This division is active in research investigating the effects of motion on human performance, including balance, as well as countermeasures to help improve performance.
We seek an enthusiastic, highly motivated, ambitious, and talented scientist who is a US citizen to join our multi-disciplinary collaboration. The successful applicant will hold a Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant research area such as engineering, neuroscience, kinesiology, psychology, physiology, or rehabilitation sciences and have a track record in the field of balance/biomechanics with the potential for scientific success. The applicant should have a keen interest in human performance, excellent writing and oral communication skills, and experience in data analysis.
