Responsibilities:
Serve as Director of Research and Principal Investigatorat a Military Treatment Facility executing the Extremity Trauma and Amputation Center of Excellence (EACE) intramural research program.
Overseeing day-to-day operations; planning, directing, coordinating, and executing clinically and militarily relevant research projects aimed at advancing prolonged field care and furthering the rehabilitation of patients with extremity trauma.
Provide administrative oversight and program management to the EACE intramural research program.
Perform supervisory duties which includes, planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting and adjusting short-term priorities, and preparing schedules for completion of work, and identifying developmental and training needs of employees.
Mentor a diverse research team including clinicians and/or other PhD. level research staff.
