  • Postdoctoral position in Human Movement Analysis at Iowa State University

    Applications are invited for a post-doctoral position to work on examination of biomechanical and neurophysiological factors contributing to gait imbalance and mobility impairment with Dr. Li-Shan Chou at Iowa State University. Dr. Chou’s current research (https://choulab.uoregon.edu/) focus on the investigation of mobility impairment associated with ageing, fatigue, musculoskeletal diseases/injuries, or traumatic brain injury. The ideal candidate should possess a PhD in kinesiology, mechanical engineering, bioengineering, or related areas with graduate research experience in human movement analysis. The candidate should be able to work creatively and independently, possess strong writing and communication skills, and be highly motivated to succeed.

    The position is open immediately. Interested applicants should submit a letter of interest, research statement, CV, names and contact information of three professional references to chou@iastate.edu. Dr. Chou will attend the ISB/ASB meeting in Calgary and is available to meet with the applicant.
