  • Postdoctoral Fellowship position in Running Biomechanics - Sao Paulo, Brazil

    The Laboratory of Human Posture and Movement Biomechanics from the Department of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy – School of Medicine, University of Sao Paulo, Brazil (www.usp.br/labimph) is offering a full-time post-doctoral position to develop a study in running biomechanics. The project “Biomechanical and functional aspects of the musculoskeletal system of runners: chronic effects of therapeutic exercise and aging” is under the orientation of Professor Isabel de Camargo Neves Sacco. The fellowship has a minimum duration of 24 months, granted by Fapesp (Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo, process nº: 15/14810-0, from 01/12/2016 to 30/11/2021). Additionally, the candidate must have a PhD degree (preferably obtained in the last 5 years), English skills in writing and speaking, and proven minimum of one year of experience abroad in experimental research on running biomechanics and biomechanical data acquisition, processing and analysis. Experience with Matlab programming and application of artificial intelligence algorithms in biomechanical data are highly desirable.
