The successful applicant will be expected to have a Ph.D. in muscle physiology, biomechanics, or related fields and experience in one or more of the following techniques:
- in situ and in vitro muscle preparations
- skinned muscle fibers preparations
- measurement of heat production in muscle
- measurement of organismal energetics
