A Ph.D. position is available with Dr. Natalie Holt in the Department of Evolution, Ecology and Organismal Biology at the University of California, Riverside. The lab takes a comparative approach to understanding the mechanisms of skeletal muscle contraction, and their implications for locomotor anatomy, physiology and behavior.
Successful applicants will be expected to have an undergraduate and master’s degree (or equivalent research experience) in anatomy and physiology, exercise science, bioengineering, or a related area, and keen interests in the study of comparative physiology and animal locomotion.
