    The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology invites applications and nominations for a lecturer (non-tenure track) faculty position with a targeted start date of January 2020. Candidates must have experience teaching courses in an Industrial Engineering curriculum in one or more of the following areas: Facilities Planning, Systems Engineering, and/or Engineering Management. Applicants must have a Master’s degree with significant industrial experience, in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management or a closely related field. Candidates must also have demonstrated a potential for high quality teaching; experience directing teams and facilities within industrial and/or academic settings; potential to organize, advise, and evaluate industrial projects; potential to establish working relationships with industry for student projects; excellent written and oral communication skills; and the ability to contribute in meaningful ways to the university’s continuing commitment to cultural diversity, pluralism and individual differences.
