The Gait Rehabilitation and Motor Learning Lab and the Locomotor Control Lab of the University of Southern California, directed by Dr. Kristan Leech and Dr. James Finley, respectively, are looking for a highly motivated Specialized Laboratory Technician. The laboratories are devoted to the study of walking and motor learning in healthy individuals and in individuals after neurologic injury or disease. The labs perform behavioral and computational experiments based on principles of neuroscience, exercise physiology, motor learning, biomechanics and engineering. Our ultimate goal is to design effective, evidence-based interventions that improve walking in individuals with damage to the nervous system.
