The University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Science, is pleased to announce the availability of one post-doctoral research fellowship through the U.S. Administration for Community Living, National Institute of Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research, University of Maryland Advanced Neuromotor Rehabilitation Research Training (UMANRRT) Program, in potential collaboration with the Geriatric, Neurology, Epidemiology and Pediatric Departments, University of Maryland, School of Medicine or the Bioengineering and Kinesiology Departments, University of Maryland, College Park. - Biomechanical, neuroimaging, sensorimotor learning, and/or movement analysis skills related to understanding and improving neuromotor control of patients with neurological disorders or in older adults.
- Biomechanical and/or cognitive-motor skills related to balance control and falls in older adults and patients with neurological injuries.
- A focus on interventional studies that concentrate on the interaction of neuromotor, biomechanical and behavioral processes.
