    The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) invites applications for a post-doctoral research associate position with an anticipated start date of January 2, 2020. This position is in the Department of Biomechanics which is housed in the Biomechanics Research Building (BRB) in the research group of Dr. Nathaniel Hunt.


    The selected candidate may receive the post-doctoral research associate training for at least 1 year, with possible renewals based upon funding and performance.


    Duties of the position include: 1) conducting research related to biomechanics projects focused on animal locomotion biomechanics (this includes processing and collecting data, preparing reports, etc.); 2) submitting internal and external grants related to biomechanics projects focused on animal locomotion biomechanics; 3) writing IACUC applications for biomechanics projects focused on animal locomotion biomechanics; 4) assisting the PI with grant reports; 5) disseminating research by writing research papers and presenting in national and international meetings; 6) assisting with preparation for new federal grants; and, 7) other duties as assigned by the PI.
