Ph.D. Research Assistantship
Boise State University
Biomedical Engineering Ph.D
Description:
The Center for Orthopaedic and Biomechanics Research is seeking a highly motivated individual to conduct research in development of data-driven predictive models of neurological diseases. The PhD student will use experimental, theoretical and computational approaches to: (1) determine the key features of postural control in locomotion and cognitive function function due to neurological diseases, and (2) develop and validate computational models that predict diseases or different stages of diseases. This project will provide a student with training in neuromechanics, biomechanics, computational modeling, and brain imaging. Knowledge gained from this project can assist the design of predictive models for diseases diagnosis.
This is a fully funded PhD research assistantship in the Biomedical Engineering (BME) PhD Program, with a research emphasis in Biomechanics. This position includes a stipend, full tuition waiver and health insurance.
