Dr. Joseph Woo’s laboratory in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery is looking to hire a Life Science Research Professional (LSRP I) to assist with laboratory experiments. In particular, these experiments relate to cardiac biomechanics, in vitro testing, and additive manufacturing.
The ideal candidates will have degrees in mechanical engineering or biomedical engineering with experience in fluid mechanics, stress analysis, physiology, CAD, and additive manufacturing. Medical device development experience or prior experience with cardiac biomechanical studies is a plus.
Education (required): Bachelor's degree in related scientific field.
