  • 2020-2021 Graduate Assistant Positions Available at UNO Biomechanics

    The Department of Biomechanics and the Center for Research in Human Movement Variability at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) have multiple available graduate assistantship positions for the 2020-2021 academic year. Start dates could be either July or August of 2020.

    We offer both a Master of Science and a PhD. There are currently 14 research faculty who specialize in a range of topics in biomechanics including motor learning and control, nonlinear dynamics, human and animal movement variability, aging, prosthetic and assistive device development, cardiovascular biomechanics, exoskeletons, exosuits, bioinspired robotics, rehabilitative biomechanics in patient populations, such as stroke, peripheral arterial disease, Parkinson’s disease, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Total Knee Arthroplasty, diabetes, and many others. Our students work in a state-of-the-art research facility with almost 60,000 square feet dedicated to research in biomechanics. To learn more about us, please visit our website:
