Applications are hereby invited for the highly prestigious Hillel Friedland Postdoctoral Fellowship intended for truly outstanding young individuals (age 40 or younger), who had completed a doctorate in the past five years. Applicants are not limited to a specific profession.
Each Fellowship is worth R360,000.00 per annum tax-free. Additionally, health insurance and financial support for participation in an international research focused conference are provided. The appointment would be for two to three years, subject to annual renewal adjudicated on satisfactory progress. The successful Fellows will be expected to publish their work in leading peer reviewed international journals and to give a public lecture on the accomplished research. Fellows are also required to acknowledge the Trust in all their publications and to report annually on progress to the Trustees.
