Seeking full-time lab coordinator with experience in motion capture and biomechanics to work on a newly funded project examining motor learning in older adults with cognitive deficits, including Mild Cognitive Impairment. Responsibilities will include recruitment, screening, enrollment, scheduling and follow-up of all study participants. The coordinator will also complete data collections using a Vicon 3D motion capture system and offline analysis of biomechanical variables. Other responsibilities are for appropriate conduct of human subjects research, developing and reporting all documents to the IRB, and conducting periodic audits.
Applicants must have experience with biomechanics / motion capture software and have outstanding organizational and communication skills. Previous experience working with clinical populations, performing clinical measures of gait performance, and programming in Matlab is preferred.
Project funds are available for 1 year, but the position could be extended depending on laboratory needs, funding resources, and applicant preferences.
A lab coordinator position is requested, but postdoctoral fellows interested in the project will also be considered.
