  • Research intensive lectureship/assistant professorship in mechanical engineering at London South Bank University

The School of Engineering (SoE) at London South Bank University (LSBU) is hiring a new lecturer (the equivalent of an assistant professor) in mechanical engineering, Division of Mechanical Engineering and Design.

Recently, three new research centres have been established in the SoE, one of which is the Centre for Bioengineering Research. We are keen to develop this area, and hire someone with pioneering research and ideas who is willing to conduct collaborative research with others at LSBU. Possible collaborative topics and collaborators could include:
-health with researchers in our nursing program
-sports science with our leading sports and exercise scientists, or
-biomimicry and/or evolutionary biomechanics with our bioengineers

The job description can be found here: https://www.jobs.ac.uk/job/CAC785/le...al-engineering and the application deadline is 21 June.

For general inquiries about the job posting, please email Prof. Asa Barber, Dean of Engineering, at barbera8@lsbu.ac.uk.

For general inquiries about working at LSBU and/or bioengineering research being done in the SoE, I started my job here a year ago and am happy to offer any information/insight I can (berthaume@lsbu.ac.uk)

    Good luck!
